Though the year is not yet fully out, branding expert Interbrand has just published the results of its annual survey of the World's Top 100 Brands. The winners? Apple, Google and Blackberry who have seen their values increase 37%, 36% and 32%, respectively. It's not all good news, however, for those in the TMT sector with significant falls for Dell and Nokia - the former fighting allegations about knowingly selling defective hardware and, the latter struggling to find an I-Phone/Android killer smartphone. Perhaps, not unsurprisingly, BP does not feature in the Top 100 - its current woes may have been somewhat exacerbated by the rise of "slacktivism".
